Nintendo announced today that they will be releasing the Wii Motion Plus, a new Wii remote accessory addon that traces movements in 3d space more accurately. Though the Wii seems to do fine in terms of movement so far, this tiny accessory could supposedly work in conjunction with basic body movements.

NPD reports that Nintendo has had extremely strong sales in the month of February, including nearly half a million Wii Hardware Units and over 500,000 DS system sales in the U.S. Nintendo was #1 in hardware sales for both the console and portable gaming sales charts last month.
