The shiny Halo 3 Zune, which does look kind of silly, is available for Pre-Order as an exclusive at the trusty old GameStop. The limited edition Zune which retails for $249, comes with some pretty cool Halo pre-load content to satisfy the ultimate Halo fan.

Since Bungie screwed up and made us lose a whole day of Halo 3 action, the software publisher has decided to extend the beta for four more days. Fine by me, I’ll take any extra time to “test” it out.

Sweet baby, it’s working. A new Crackdown patch has resolved the issue of the users being locked out, and you can now download the beta. You may have to clear your cache to get the patch to install, instructions to do so can be found here.

Upon the release of the Halo 3 Multiplayer Beta, Microsoft sent out a mass email regarding the final (and official) release date for the full version of Halo 3. Millions of Xbox 360 owners will be able to finish the fight September 25th, 2007.
Bungie has just released a new weekly update, containing information that gives update details to the already promised features, some brand new features, and how the controller layout plays a huge role in Halo 3.

Despite, what some uninformed rumor mongers have been saying, every copy of Crackdown will include a Halo 3 Beta invite. No golden tickets or scratch off winners here. If you buy, a copy of Crackdown with in a month or so of it shipping you can be sure you are going to get hooked up. [...]
