Battlefield has always been a multiplayer focused series, though obviously with the freshest entry, Battlefield: Bad Company, effort has been spent on both the single and multiplayer components. But at least in regards to the campaign mode, it seems DICE’s old habits die hard.


Mirror’s Edge looks like one hell of a roller coaster ride, and is now officially on the top of my most anticipated games. Today, Take-Two denied EA’s offer for a fourth time, announcing that they are not interested in letting EA acquire all of their outstanding shares. They claim that the proposal “significantly undervalues” what Take-Two would want if a takeover ever were to take place.


The minds over at SarcasticGamer seem to be fed up with the amount of digital distribution that Battlefield: Bad Company will bring, and we are with them. Charging extra for additional maps is one thing, but EA making gamers pay for additional weapons? Enough’s enough. Watch this video and let EA know that $60 better [...]


Take-Two has once again shut the door in EA’s face, as the takeover bid of $26 a share seemed inadequate to them. They have however, said that they are going to “review strategic alternatives” after the release of GTA:IV. Will EA still want them them? Absolutely.

Today during a conference, CEO of EA, John Riccitiello, happily confirmed the near future release of the Wii version of Rock Band. Though an official release date has not been mentioned, the Sku for the European release is scheduled to launch around April, so hopefully America’s version will see the light of day around [...]


Crysis Coming to the PS3?

Crysis was originally rumored to be launching not only on the PC, but on the more powerful consoles as well. In fact, many were disappointed and shocked when the developers said that it wouldn’t run well on Sony or Microsoft’s console hardware.
