Although not completely out of the ordinary for the average MMORPG player, basement-dwellers across the country are up in arms due to recent changes that were accidentally applied to Funcom’s new MMORPG Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures . The source of such nerd ire? Why boobies, of course!

It would seem that in a recent client update for Age of Conan, a slight back-end miscalculation on Funcom’s part, mistakenly reduced the breast size of many of the female models that populate the game’s world. Simply a travesty, I know, and as we can all agree, a change of this magnitude is game breaking and simply cannot stand!

According to a Funcom statement apologizing for the change:

Funcom can confirm that some of the female models in the game have had the size of their breasts changed. This is due to an unintended change in data that was introduced in an earlier patch - data which controls the so-called morph values associated with character models and the size of their respective body parts. We are working on a fix for this and your breasts should be back to normal soon.

It is indeed good to know that Funcom is so dedicated to preserving the quality of their very well endowed new game. Soon everything will once again be right with the world.

The critically and commercially successful Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures was released on May 20th and is scheduled for release on the Xbox 360 later this year.
