The updates on PlayStation Home have seem to have been nonexistent for quite some time, but that doesn’t mean that Sony has been sleeping on the job. In fact, the release date for the final build of Home is sooner than we may think, and the graphical overhaul it’s received definitely makes any PS3’s mouth water.

Right now, Home is on track for a release in the Spring of 2008. Once it is released, PlayStation 3 owners will immediately be able to download the community software free of charge via the PSN. This seems to be something with the ability that could push PS3 console sale numbers upwards towards those of Microsoft’s and Nintendo’s.

Update - Here is 25 minute presentation of the features currently in the beta, and what we will probably find in the final version.
