The classic comedy “Austin Powers: International man of mystery” is now available for free on the XBL Marketplace until June 28th, and then again from July 19th to 23rd. Its not the high-def. version, but anyone who complains about a freebie shouldn’t be playing Xbox anyway.

The video is sponsored by McDonalds as a part of their “Burgercon” marketing campaign, which includes a small play and win contest.

The XBL video marketplace has been doing good as well, according to Microsoft, and one-third of the members have downloaded at least one video through the service. (That stat is probably counting people who downloaded the free south park episode in March.)
