The official website for the next installment in the Super Smash Bros. franchise has just been launched, offering plenty of useful information. So far, there is information for only three of the officially announced characters, but I am seriously hoping for cell-shaded Link.

Gizmodo has received a tip stating that Microsoft’s Entertainment Division, (The Geeks who brought us the Xbox 360 and the Zune) will be announcing something that “you have to see to believe” at 12:01 EST. Stay tuned GameDrifters, Microsoft seems sure of this one.

Today, Microsoft Game Studios released the first title to ever unite Xbox 360 players and Windows Vista players via Live. Shadowrun is now available for the Xbox 360 for $59.99, and for Windows Vista for $49.99; the price difference still has us baffled. Let my people play!

The Xbox 360 Racing Wheel Peripheral has gained interest of some, but the price has never really helped. Just before the launch of Forza 2 which is happening next week, Microsoft today officially announced that they are dropping the Xbox 360 Racing Wheel price down to $129.99.

Today, Activision officially announced the third installment of the Guitar Hero franchise, with promised (and confirmed) wireless guitar controllers. The Gibson branded guitars will also feature removable faceplates, so rockers can customize their rig to their liking. Hello Kitty faceplate, anyone?
