The rep did not reveal detailed specifics, however did remark that a red and black console have been confirmed.

Remember, before the PSP launched and some people thought it was going to be the Gameboy/DS killer? Yeah, that sounds funny now doesn’t? In Japan it’s a real challenge to even find a DS lite to purchase. As a gamer, (and a DS owner) this is great news. With such a huge installed user [...]
Confused about what this IPTV stuff is supposed to be? Then watch these two videos, from 1up.com. Microsoft execs Chris Satchell and Albert Penello break it down and walk us through the interface. But, if your too busy to sit through the vids here it is in a nutshell.

Before the PS3 launched Sony touted full backwards compatibility as one of their key features, unfortunately people found out this was less then true when they actually got the console. Many games (event very recent ones such as FF XII) suffered from unreadable text and massive amounts of jaggies. But, happily it looks like that [...]

Looks like Nintendo is starting to break out the big guns on their Virtual Console. This week it was Zelda: Link To The Past and next week it’s going to be Super Mario Kart 64 (perhaps the greatest drinking video game ever IMHO). Hopefully, Nintendo will offer us many more N64 games in the near [...]
It’s not easy to be a Sony fan these days because of some more bad news from Ubisoft. It seems the highly anticipated GRAW 2 was quietly left off a recent financial report announcing their Q4 lineup for the 2006-2007 fiscal year. 1up.com did some further investigation and received official word from Ubisoft, they [...]
