Due to many reported cases of glitches, slow load times, and content even not being transfered, the Xbox 360 Video Marketplace is doing quite bad, and many users are staying away.
Major Nelson addresses this issue:

Hopefully Microsoft will pull this through, or they may seem a negative impact of what could have actually been a huge tool to successfully win the console wars.
